Privacy policy
1. WHO?
This privacy statement applies to the personal data processed via the website and in the context of the main activities of the Data Controller. The data controller is ACMT, with registered office at Varentschoot 25, 9840 Nazareth-De Pinte, with company number VAT BE 0453.668.010, trading under the trade name ‘ACMT’, with contact person Mr. Peter Devriese (peter.devriese@acmt.be) (hereinafter “ACMT”, “ We ”, or the “ Data Controller ”).
The Data Controller will do its utmost to respect your privacy rights as best as possible. The Data Controller will comply with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) and/or any future or additional legislation that may apply.
2. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data is any data that identifies or makes a natural person identifiable. This includes contact information such as your name and email address, but also usage data of social media account, your IP address, your preferences, financial data, sensitive data, etc.

4.1 Processing grounds:

A. Necessary for the performance of an agreement:

- Providing and/or requesting information in the context of concluding an agreement;
- Drafting of agreements;
Contractual phase:

- Execution of the contractual assignment
B. Legitimate interest:
Improving the quality of the service and evaluating and maintaining data and statistics relating to the activities of the Controller, in the broad sense.
The preservation and use of evidence in the context of liability, proceedings or disputes and for the purpose of archiving ACMT’s activities.
Ensuring safety, both online and in our buildings.
Contacting existing customers for commercial purposes or sending a newsletter for similar services or information about our services.
4.2 Method of processing
Your data will always be treated confidentially and will not be traded, sold, rented or passed on to third parties outside the contractual relationship or a specific assignment.
In order to be able to offer its services, the Data Controller may be assisted by a select number of processors. If they have access to your personal data, the necessary guarantees are obtained with them in accordance with the GDPR. The data is always stored within the EU.
In rare cases, the Controller may be required to disclose your personal data pursuant to a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations. The Controller will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance of this, unless this is subject to legal restrictions.
The personal data will be processed by the Data Controller for a period that is necessary in function of the purposes of the processing. After that, your data will be deleted or anonymized.
5. SECURITY PRECAUTIONS
ACMT provides appropriate security measures on a technical and organizational level to prevent, within the framework of its activities, the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorized access or accidental notification to third parties of personal data collected, as well as any other unauthorized processing of these data.
Under no circumstances can ACMT be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use of your personal data by a third party.
6. Rights of data subjects:
You have the right to access the personal data that ACMT processes about you at any time, free of charge:
6.1 Right of correction, deletion and restriction
You are free to share your personal data with ACMT or not. In addition, you always have the right to request ACMT to improve, supplement or delete your personal data. You acknowledge that in case of refusal of communication or request for deletion of personal data, certain services may not be available.
You may also request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
6.2 Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.
In addition, you always have the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such a case, you do not even have to provide reasons.
6.3 Right to data portability
You have the right to obtain your personal data provided by you to ACMT in a structured, common and machine-readable format and/or to have it transferred to other controllers.
6.4 Right to withdraw consent
To the extent that processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent.
6.5 Exercising your rights
You can exercise your rights by contacting ACMT, either by e-mail to peter.devriese@acmt.be or by post, by sending a letter to the registered office of ACMT, provided that you include a copy of the front of your identity card or another document that can identify you. This identification data will only be used to identify you in accordance with the GDPR, then erased and not used for any other purposes.
6.6 Automatic decisions and profiling
The processing of your personal data does not include profiling and will not be subject to automated decisions by “ACMT”.
6.7 Right to lodge a complaint

This does not affect a provision before a civil court.
7. CHANGES
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its users on this page. We advise you to check this page often for any changes, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom of the page.
If a data subject objects to any change in the policy, the user must cease using this website and/or cease working with ACMT. He can request the Controller to delete the personal data. Unless otherwise stated, the then valid privacy policy applies to all personal data that the Controller has stored about data subjects.
